Advocacy and Lobbying for PR
PRAU actively supports efforts aimed at strengthening the public relations profession in Uganda. This is done through creating public awareness and undertaking various sensitization activities. These efforts often help build the profiles and reputations of our members and strengthen the association and the profession in general.
Promoting PR Excellence
PRAU supports PR excellence among its members and holds them to the highest professional and ethical standards. Therefore, PRAU prides itself in proactively recommending some of its outstanding members, especially as part of recruitment efforts by various institutions or organizations that are looking to high quality PR professionals.
Strengthening the Policy and Legal Framework for PR
As part of its advocacy efforts, PRAU has been actively working to standardize and professionalize PR practice in Uganda through statutory recognition and accreditation. Once realized, PROs/Communicators shall receive accreditation that certifies their professional experience and expertise in the field of PR.
