Benefits of becoming a member of PRAU
PRAU regularly undertakes various outreach activities to attract and retain its members. The following are some of the benefits that PRAU presents to members and potential members:
- Individual members receive a membership card and certificate of membership which distinguishes them from other practitioners
- Corporate members receive a Corporate Membership Certificate
- Members are entitled to recommendation letters should they need them
- Both individual and institutional members are registered in the PRAU Members’ data base
- Student members are recommended for internship placements to both PRAU member companies and organizations and non-members
- Members participate in Continuous Professional Development Programmes
- Members engage in networking and knowledge sharing opportunities with other colleagues
- Members participate in regular peer-to-peer learning and consultations that enable learning from actual day-to-day PR situations
- Student members seconded for mentorships sessions designed to guide them through their career development process.

- Members enjoy subsidized participation fees at PRAU events that may attract a fee, that is, trainings, lectures, conferences meetings and tours for practitioners
