The Public Relations Association of Uganda (PRAU) has once again sealed a strategic partnership with Nile Breweries Limited (NBL) for the much-anticipated 2025 PRAU Run slated for Friday, 20th June 2025.

The announcement was made at Nile Breweries’ offices in Luzira, Portbell Road, where both organizations reaffirmed their shared commitment to promoting wellness, professional growth, and community impact.

Speaking on behalf of Nile Breweries, Corporate Affairs Manager Emmanuel Njuki applauded the long-standing collaboration between NBL and PRAU. He shared a brief background of Nile Breweries’ role in championing sustainability, community health, and youth empowerment.

“As Nile Breweries, we are passionate about brewing a better world. Our partnership with PRAU aligns with our mission to support initiatives that uplift lives and create positive change,” Njuki said. “We believe in the power of communication and public relations to shape a better society.”

PRAU President Irene Nakasiita expressed heartfelt appreciation to NBL for their unwavering support and willingness to sponsor PRAU events whenever called upon.

“Nile Breweries has consistently proven to be a true partner of progress,” Nakasiita said. “We thank them for walking this journey with us, empowering professionals, promoting physical wellness through the PRAU Run slated for, and strengthening the voice of PR in Uganda.”

The 2025 PRAU Run is expected to attract hundreds of communications professionals, students, corporate teams, and wellness enthusiasts from across the country. Proceeds from the run will go towards community outreach initiatives and skills development programs under PRAU’s 2025 theme of “PR Miles, Vibrant Voices, Compelling Forces.”

With the backing of corporate giants like NBL, PRAU continues to position public relations not just as a profession, but as a transformative force in national development.
