As preparations for the Public Relations Association of Uganda (PRAU) Golden Jubilee gather momentum, the Association continues to strengthen partnerships that will shape a memorable milestone in Uganda’s public relations journey.

On Tuesday this week, members of the PRAU Governing Council paid a courtesy visit to Uganda Baati Ltd. to explore strategic partnership opportunities in anticipation of the #PRAUAt50 celebrations, scheduled for later this year.

The engagement provided an opportunity for both institutions to discuss areas of collaboration and reaffirm their shared commitment to excellence, innovation, sustainability and national development. The meeting reflected the growing importance of partnerships in delivering impactful initiatives that leave a lasting legacy for both the profession and the country.

Speaking during the engagement, PRAU leadership underscored the significance of working with corporate partners whose values align with the Association’s vision of advancing professional communication and fostering responsible leadership. The discussions focused on creating mutually beneficial opportunities that will contribute to the success of the Golden Jubilee celebrations while strengthening relationships between the communications profession and Uganda’s corporate sector.

For five decades, the Public Relations Association of Uganda (PRAU) has remained the country’s leading professional body for public relations and communication practitioners, championing ethical practice, professional development, strategic communication and industry excellence. The Golden Jubilee presents an opportunity to celebrate these achievements while charting an ambitious future for the profession.

PRAU expressed its sincere appreciation to the leadership and management of Uganda Baati Ltd. for the warm reception, hospitality and constructive engagement. The Association noted that such collaborations demonstrate the collective commitment required to build stronger institutions and create meaningful impact for communities, businesses and the nation.

As the countdown to #PRAUAt50 continues, PRAU remains committed to engaging stakeholders across the public and private sectors to ensure the celebrations not only commemorate 50 years of excellence but also inspire the next generation of communication professionals.

The Association looks forward to working closely with Uganda Baati Ltd. and other strategic partners to deliver a historic Golden Jubilee that celebrates the past, embraces the present and shapes the future of public relations in Uganda.
