The Public Relations Association of Uganda (PRAU) recently engaged students of Journalism and Communication at Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi in an enlightening session on Public Relations and Communications, drawing inspiration from biblical principles. PRAU’s session was delving into the power of storytelling, reputation management, and the critical role of ethical communication in today’s fast-evolving PR landscape. The event, rich with knowledge and inspiration, provided students with valuable tools and insights that will shape their careers in media and communication.

During the interaction, students were encouraged to subscribe to PRAU, positioning themselves for a thriving future in the profession. The session underscored the importance of ethics, strategic communication, and professional development in shaping a successful PR career. PRAU vice-president, Paul Mwirigi Muriungi, said the association strives to promote PR excellence, which is why we recognize and support the best PR students from different universities.

A highlight of the event was the recognition of Bridget Kenyangye as the Best PR Student of the Year 2024, a testament to excellence and dedication. Congratulations to Bridget on this well-deserved achievement!
